About Us

Southall Residents Alliance (SRA) is a grassroots movement fighting for cleaner, safer, fairer streets in Southall. Learn who we are, our values, and how to get involved.

Who We Are

Southall Residents Alliance (SRA) is a grassroots community movement led by local people who are tired of being ignored.

We are residents, families, and neighbours who care deeply about Southall. For too long, our community has faced neglect, poor services, and double standards from Ealing Council. We refuse to accept this.

We believe Southall deserves the same respect, services, and standards as every other part of the borough.

What We Do

We bring residents together to:

  • Expose failings in council services.
  • Campaign for cleaner, safer streets free from fly-tipping, crime, and neglect.
  • Demand accountability from those in power.
  • Give Southall a stronger voice – one that cannot be ignored.

From tackling fly-tipping and anti-social behaviour to pushing for fair treatment of our area, the Southall Residents Alliance works to ensure that our voices are heard loud and clear

Our Values

At SRA, we are guided by simple but powerful values:

  • Community first – the people of Southall come before politics.
  • Transparency – open, honest, and accountable in everything we do.
  • Action, not excuses – we push for real change, not empty promises.
  • Unity – strength comes from standing together.
  • Respect for Southall – our area deserves the same standards as anywhere else in Ealing

Why We Exist

For too long, Southall residents have felt:

  • Ignored when raising complaints.
  • Overlooked when it comes to investment and services.
  • Unfairly treated compared to other parts of Ealing.

The Southall Residents Alliance was created to turn that frustration into collective action.

We exist to make sure Southall is no longer dismissed, neglected, or treated as second-class.

Our Campaigns

We are already working on the issues that matter most to residents:

  • Fly-Tipping – exposing hotspots and demanding fair waste services.
  • Anti-Social Behaviour – pressing for more substantial police presence and safer streets.
  • Air Pollution – calling out the health risks of Southall Gasworks and traffic congestion.
  • Fair Treatment – fighting double standards within Ealing Council.

Every campaign has one goal: a better Southall for residents.

Get Involved

The community powers the Southall Residents Alliance. Every resident has a role to play:

  • Share information about issues on your street.
  • Attend meetings to add your voice to the movement.
  • Report problems and hold those in power accountable.
  • Stand with us in campaigns for fairness and respect.

👉 Whether it’s 5 minutes or 5 hours, every contribution counts.

Together, we can turn frustration into action – and action into change.
